Hello parents and guardians. My name is Larken Ewing and I have been in the childhood education field for the past five years, working with children from multiple backgrounds and demographics. My current position is a teacher's assistant at a school for children with Autism, in Manhattan. As a TA, I am required to assist in carrying out lesson plans as well as regulate the classroom, whenever necessary. In addition to this, I recently completed my ATAS exam and acquired my level 1 Teaching certification in New York State. I really enjoy teaching and watching my scholars light up and take pride in themselves after they've worked so hard to achieve their goals. Having them work through a difficult lesson to grasp the concept, is the highlight of my job. I'd love to work with you and your child to create that same level of joy, understanding, and accomplishment in themselves as well. I look forward to meeting you!
