Hi there! My name is Lauren, and I have 16 years of experience as an upper-elementary classroom teacher, as well as experience teaching English to Chinese students from ages 3-13 with VIPKid, providing one-on-one intervention for students facing reading challenges with Lindamood-Bell, and writing English Language Arts curriculum for Harlem Children's Zone's Promise Academy. I am passionate about working with diverse student populations and striving to help close the achievement gap. I especially love helping students recognize their potential and feel confident in their ability to learn anything they put their minds to!
