My name is Lauren Janzekovich, but in the classroom I go by Mrs. J. I graduated from a teaching university in North Carolina, I am currently certified in New York, and I have been a teacher for 12 years. Though I have mainly taught high school classes, I have worked with students in preschool and elementary school and I feel comfortable working with students of all ages. I love being a teacher for many reasons, but I think my main superpower and goal as a teacher is giving students confidence and self-love. The most wonderful aspect of working in a classroom is when students feel confident or comfortable learning a subject for the first time after struggling for months or years.
