I'm currently a 3rd grade teacher in NYC and on my seventh year of teaching. I’m certified to teach special education from birth - grade 6 as well as general education. I also hold a degree and certification in literacy, which is why I LOVE phonics! Ive taught 2nd- 5th grade and I loved every minute of it. I’ve also spent most of my teen and college years working with kids 5-7 both in camps and tutoring. I love teaching because I really enjoy being that support for a student and seeing them grow from September to June.
