I am a passionate and dedicated educator with over four years of online teaching experience and nearly two decades of classroom instruction. My specialty lies in designing engaging, standards-based lessons that inspire and educate young minds. I have successfully transitioned the magic of in-person instruction to online platforms, teaching students worldwide both individually and in learning pods. Since January 2020, I have been educating Pre-K to grade 5 students globally. My expertise spans primary core curriculum subjects, English and Spanish as second languages, and designing online curricula aligned with Common Core Standards. I employ various platforms such as PowerPoint, Nearpod, Classkick, and Desmos to create interactive lesson plans tailored to individual student needs. My proficiency with these tools ensures an engaging and effective learning experience. During my nearly two decades with the Los Angeles Unified School District, I taught all subjects in Pre-K to grade 5, including Spanish bilingual classes. I developed multicultural lessons and created safe, respectful learning environments. I hold a Master’s degree in School Administration from California State University Northridge and possess a valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with a BCLAD in Spanish.
