Lucy Walker is an elementary education teacher from Connecticut. She has a bachelor's degree in communications from Boston College and her Master's degree in elementary education also from Boston College. Lucy currently lives in Manhattan and works as a first grade Associate Teacher at Avenues New York where she implements a rigorous curriculum and creates a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students. Lucy worked in Massachusetts in Newton Public Schools for two years as a first and second grade Special Education Aide while obtaining her Master's. She also acted as a long term second grade substitute math teacher. She completed her student teaching in Newton Public Schools.
