Luma Hasan has 9 years of experience as an teacher, curriculum designer, and professional development facilitator. Within her classroom and curricular experience, she specializes in developing anti-bias and culturally-responsive practices. She has collaborated with various educational institutions, public schools, and non-profit organizations to produce learning materials for both students and adults. Luma also works as a part-time lecturer at the Rutgers Graduate School of Education in collaboration with the Civically Engaged Districts Project to facilitate youth participatory action research programs in New Jersey. She holds a Bachelor's degree in History and a Master's degree in Social Studies Education from Rutgers University.
