​I'm passionate about developing growth mindsets and finding joy in learning. I'm in my 9th year of full-time teaching and 5th year of private practice where I tutor students in lower, middle, and upper school. I have extensive experience incorporating a multi-dimensional approach to give students mathematical freedom and am well versed with a variety of curriculums to provide both enrichment and support. For students with learning differences, I use a multi-sensory approach to teaching mathematics that includes the use of manipulatives, note-taking strategies, and graphic organizers for decoding word problems. In addition to math tutoring, I am also an executive functioning coach and provide skills-based training such as organization, attention, time management, working memory, and motivation using specific intervention strategies.
