My work, passion and continuing goal is to have a positive impact upon the lives of students, particularly those youngsters challenged by their learning differences, i.e., language-based learning disabilities such as dyslexia. For me, the greatest rewards are to teach individual students the way they learn best or to mentor/coach teachers to implement instructional strategies for planning and delivering effective and engaging lessons. Students receiving support from literacy experts gain increased confidence, key learning/study skills and make significant progress towards reaching their academic potential.
