A dedicated, responsible teacher, and willing to adapt new things in my teaching career. I am confident that my 21 years of professional experience as a Teacher has prepared me for this role in various ways. First, my experience has honed my communication skills. As a Teacher, I had to clearly articulate the concepts and knowledge to students with varying levels of understanding. This skill will be critical in the role of a Virtual Tutor, as clear and concise instructions and explanations are essential in the virtual learning environment. Second, I have collaborated with a range of individuals, including students, parents, and other educators. As a Teacher, I had to work closely with parents in developing progress reports and ensuring the learning experience aligns with their child's learning goals. This strength will be valuable as a Virtual Tutor Teacher as it will enable me to collaborate with parents and other stakeholders remotely. Thirdly, I have experience working as part of a team in a school environment. This experience has given me insight into working collaboratively with colleagues, administration and management to achieve common goals. As a Virtual Tutor, I know that the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues will be important in delivering a seamless virtual learning experience for students.
