My name is Mursheda Ahmed. I am a licensed Mathematics Teacher residing in NY. I mainly teach 9th grade mathematics regents courses, along with other grades. This course is a rigorous course that helps prepare students for the NYS exams. Which means I am familiar with the Common Core Standards. I search for various ways to scaffold the lessons so that every stduents' needs are being met and the student is being set up for success. The greatest success and pleasure that I get from teaching is when a student has that "aha!" moment, and is also able to teach it to another student.
