Bio
I am from Boca Raton Florida. I graduated from the University of Florida in Jacksonville in the fall of 2020. I come from a very hard working and loving family. I was taught at a young age to be responsible.
I have been signing since I was ten years old. A friend of mine lived in my neighborhood. She and I grew to become friends, where I started to learn American Sign Language. At that time, her interpreter encouraged the other children to learn sign language, and we created an after-school program.
In 2011, I moved to Boston, where I transferred to a community college in Massachusetts at Northern Essex Community College. Here I earned my two-year degree in Deaf Studies and continued to earn a bachelor’s degree in Sign Language Interpreting. I worked part-time at home doing nails and was able to find a wonderful job with a family that had a beautiful deaf daughter who needed care.
Now that I have finished my BA degree, my goal is to receive a master's in deaf education.
