I am a retired elementary public school teacher living here in the Mesa, AZ area for the winter months with my husband. I am looking for a position as an in-person reading tutor . My experience includes 25 years of teaching elementary and special education in the West Fargo, ND public school system and five years of substitute teaching in the same district. I have an AZ substitute teaching certificate which is good until October 2024 and a recently updated Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card good until 2029. I really enjoy working with children and helping them learn. In addition to teaching reading skills, I am open to teaching basic Math and writing skills.
