Patricia Briscoe Hello everyone! My name is Patricia Briscoe and I am a Reading Interventionist and English as a Second Language Instructor(ESL). I have a passion for teaching reading to students K-8 who are "at-promise youth"(formerly "at-risk"). I specialize in teaching dyslexia, those who read below grade level. I also have experience teaching adults to read, in addition to ESL youth and adults. I have experience in teaching groups of up to 4 and 1-1. I have a Masters's in English as a Second Language, Bachelors in Education, and an Associates in Child Development. I have always loved teaching, especially reading. Since I have been an online teacher for 10 years, I have been able to reach more students with greater impact. This makes me so happy. I create readers. In my spare time I go to the beach, gym, bike rides, and hanging with my friends. My favorite colors are purple, blue, and green. It would give me great pleasure to teach you or your child ESL or reading skills.
