I am currently a certified regular/special education teacher for students in fifth grade. I have had over twenty years’ experience working with children ages five to thirteen. My certification is in both Special Education and in Elementary Education with a degree in ESL. As an educator I have expertise in many areas of the special education process and previously was the Special Education Liaison for my school. As a professional I am a creative and intuitive problem solver who cheerfully overcomes challenges. I have worked with students in both small and large groups on test taking skills for state standardized tests. I have been a teacher/tutor for grade 4 this past year I have spent the past six years instructing a fifth-grade inclusion class for both ESL and special education students as a regular education teacher. I have utilized my education skills to modify the grade curriculum for a variety of learners.
