I am Patty Freshcorn. I have my Bachelor's Degree from Georgian Court University in Elementary Education and History. I received my Reading Endorsement through the University of Florida. I have also taken multiple Professional Development classes on the Science of Reading and the Orton Gillingham method. I have been a teacher for 19 years. I have taught 3rd grade, Kindergarten, First grade, and Fifth grade. I am currently teaching 5th ELA and Social Studies. I love teaching students how to read. I have been a tutor for the past 4 years focusing on Phonics and Phonemic Awareness.
