Bio
Prudence Hu graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Richmond. She double majored in Latin and Classical Civilization and minored in Linguistics. She has great passion for learning different languages. Besides English, she speaks multiple languages including Mandarin, Cantonese, and Italian. Prudence spent six years studying in Singapore for her secondary education. Her adventures abroad did not stop in Southeast Asia. Her passion for Classics and the Italian Language led her to study abroad in Rome for a semester. During her time abroad, Prudence also traveled across Europe. She loves talking about her travels and sharing her experiences with others.
Prudence began working as a private tutor after she graduated from Raffles Institution, an independent school in Singapore, seven years ago. She continued tutoring at the University of Richmond as a peer tutor for a Philosophy course titled Symbolic Logic. After graduation, her followed her passion for teaching and became a teacher at an independent, alternative school. Prudence wishes to spread her love for language to her students as she continues her teaching journey at Braintrust.
