Hi there! I’m Renee Warner Gervais, and I’m thrilled to be part of the Braintrust tutoring community. I bring over 12 years of experience as an educator, specializing in English Language Arts and special education. I hold a Master’s degree in Special Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Childhood Education with a concentration in ELA. My teaching journey has allowed me to support diverse learners, from first graders to adult professionals, with personalized strategies that ignite curiosity and build confidence. I’m passionate about helping students unlock their full potential by using engaging and research-based approaches tailored to individual needs. Whether it’s mastering literacy skills, developing critical thinking, or tackling challenging concepts, I’m here to guide and encourage every step of the way. What I love most about tutoring is seeing those "lightbulb moments"—when a concept clicks and my students realize their capabilities. Helping learners grow and succeed brings me immense joy and fulfillment. Outside of tutoring, I’m a proud mom, pet lover and special education advocate. I also enjoy crafting new ways to make learning fun and meaningful for students of all ages. Let’s work together to reach your academic goals!
