Meet Rosemarie Colón - Your Math Specialist! Hello! I’m Rosemarie Colón, and I’m excited to be a part of Braintrust Tutors as a dedicated math specialist. With a background in mathematics education and extensive experience teaching students from grades 2 to 12, I am passionate about making math accessible and enjoyable for everyone. I earned my B.S. in Mathematics from Marywood University and later completed a Teacher Certificate Program in Mathematics at the University of Delaware, where I was awarded a full-merit scholarship. Over the years, I’ve worked with diverse learners, helping them overcome challenges and achieve academic success. My approach emphasizes understanding concepts rather than rote memorization, ensuring that students build a solid foundation in math. What I love most about my job is the opportunity to inspire confidence in my students. Witnessing their “aha” moments when they grasp a challenging concept is incredibly rewarding. I also enjoy collaborating with families to create a supportive learning environment that fosters growth and success.
