Hello! I am currently a 3rd grade ELA teacher. This will be my third year in this position. Previously and for most of my teaching career, I have been an ELA gifted enrichment teacher for K-8 students. I had one year teaching kindergarten online and for 4 years I was an Early Childhood Educator in person at Stanford University. I also was a peer tutor in college for athletes. ** I love to read!! Teaching reading is definitely my jam! I like to get students excited about reading and improving their reading skills is very important to me. ** I am very creative and energetic. I love to do artistic and active things and feel I could incorporate these skills and interests into an online environment to be more engaging and motivating for the students I am interacting with.
