Hello! My name is Samantha and I have spent most of my college/adult life learning about and falling in love with the world of education, and helping students learn in ways that work best for them. Having spent the past 4 years teaching 3rd grade and the two years before that doing my field work in a 4/5 combo class and then kindergarten, I feel most connected and confident with elementary school curriculum, strategies and students. While the pandemic was a difficult time, learning how to transition my hands on classroom to being fully virtual, I learned a lot and enjoyed the challenge of teaching concepts online.
