Sarah's lifelong passion for learning has been the foundation for her love of tutoring and teaching. She believes that inspiring that passion in her students is one of the most important duties of a tutor and teacher and helps them become engaged, enthusiastic, and successful students and lifelong learners. Sarah teaches Executive Functioning Skills, Test Prep, Humanities, Language Arts, Foreign Languages, Creative Writing, and Art to students in grades 1 -12, college students, and adults. She also teaches private full year, semester, and summer courses in Creative Writing, English, Italian, Latin, and Art for grades 1 - 12. In addition to an MA in Italian Renaissance Literature from Middlebury and the University of Ferrara, Sarah has completed 3 out of 5 summer semesters towards Middlebury's MA degree in English Literature at the Bread Loaf School of English and the University of Oxford. Sarah was the Dean of Curriculum and Director of Cultural Programs at the Anacapa School in Santa Barbara, CA, she taught in the middle school at the Pierrepont School in Westport, CT., and she taught in high school at the Brunswick School in Greenwich, CT.  She also taught ESL in Italy at a private English school for adults and children and was a part-time adjunct lecturer at the University of Ferrara.  Sarah most recently taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade grammar and writing at Palm Beach Day Academy. Sarah has tutored Executive Functioning, Writing, Test Prep, English, History, Italian, Latin, and Art in Manhattan, Palm Beach, and Fairfield County for over ten years.
