Hello my name is Shelia Mosley. I am a 24 year veteran certified teacher. I am extremely excited to embark on a new academic journey with your child. I am originally from Arkansas and have resided in the beautiful and sunny Sunshine State for more than 15 years. I have been blessed to have the opportunity to obtain a BA degree in English, Language and Literature from Savannah State University, a BA degree in Spiritual Counseling from East Texas Theological Seminary, I am currently working on a BA for Interdisciplinary Studies at Georgia Southern University. I really enjoy learning. I have also received a MS degree in Literacy in the Content Areas, and a MS in Criminal Justice. I was extremely excited when I obtained my Teacher of the Month awards on separate occasions and even more excited when I received Teacher of the Year in the State of Maryland. Just as much as I love to learn more I give that same enthusiasm in my teaching. I am both Reading and ESOL endorsed. I enjoy teaching and tutoring since it allows me to assist students in reaching new levels and they are able to see how they can make a difference in their academics. I am enthusiastic, supportive, patient, and determined. I help others become motivated because that is the way I maneuver in my daily life also. I love the different ways that students can be taught and how each one learns. Exploration with academics is necessary. I am ready to teach your child but I am also ready to learn on the journey as well. I love to travel, roller skate, learn about other cultures, and so much more.
