Hello! My name is Sherri Xavier. I've been a professional educator for 15 years. I studied Math Education Grades 7-12 at the Macaulay Honors College in NYC. After obtaining my BA/MA in Math Education and earning my NYS teacher certification, I quickly became motivated to switch my focus from working as a full-time public school teacher to teaming up with parents and schools for private and small-group instruction. This introduced me to a high concentration of parents and faculty who were deeply invested in children’s education and gave me the opportunity to help children who were struggling and willing to put in sincere effort. My goal is to make learning fun and exciting for each of my students.
