Hello! My name is Sofia Satriani. I have worked in education for 10 years. I have taught all math courses from 6-12th grade. I am currently a Dean of Students and the math instructional lead at a high school. I just had my first baby and looking for work outside of the classroom! I graduated in 2015 from Occidental College with a bachelors degree. I majored in mathematics and minored in education. In 2017, I received my Masters in Education from UCLA and my single subject credential in mathematics. Even before college, I knew I always wanted to be a teacher. My younger brother struggled in school because of his learning disabilities and I spent most of my childhood and teenage years tutoring him and helping him throughout school in all subjects. I try my best to make learning math a fun, engaging and rewarding experience. I would love to help your child succeed in their math course!
