Bio
I bring my passion for technology and coding to everything I do, and I want to help students discover their own passions through computational thinking and problem solving.
For a decade, I was a tenured professor of computer science at a liberal arts college. I was the department chair for computer science at a progressive independent school in New York City where I taught STEAM classes K-3, ran hackathons and electives 4-8, and all computer science courses 9-12. More recently, I was the director of robotics and instructor in computer science at Phillips Academy Andover.
I have taught in India as a Fulbright Scholar, run an abroad program in Bhutan, and taken student groups to Italy and China.
I love programming, computer science, linguistics, mathematics, and travel.
