Hi! My name is Ulices and I'm a former NYC High School teacher. While teaching in a Brooklyn public school I worked primarily with students with special needs in a co-teaching setting. Throughout my time at the school I worked in a variety of subjects covering the core subjects: 9-11th ELA, Algebra, Geometry, Global History, Biology. Chemistry, Earth Science and more. Before I taught high school students I worked with elementary and middle school students as a Bronx Zoo Summer Teaching Fellow teaching children ages 5-14 about wildlife conservation and basic animal science. Since then I've done some tutoring working basic coding using Scratch for young children and writing while I pursued a Law Degree. Though I left the classroom a while ago I have never stopped being an educator and always enjoy the moment when my students finally have a concept click or push through a hard problem.
