Hello! My name is Wendy, I have been an educator for almost 10 years. My education experience varies from all parts of the education world. I have been a tutor for a variety of subjects including SAT and ACT prep. I was also a charter school Intensive Reading teacher for 10-12th graders, during the pandemic and the aftermath of it. All that has lead me to now being a homeschool educator/advisor. One of my biggest accomplishments didn’t come from the promotions I got or the achievement awards I received. It came this year when I started working with my homeschool family. One of the children’s learning was highly affected by the pandemic, so much so that reading was so difficult for him(he is going from 2nd to third grade now). This week he read a 20 page book, on his own, with minimal to no help at all. The moment he finished I felt such an overwhelming sense of happiness, that solidified why I love education so much.
